Below are slideshows of drawings and sketches of projects I have produced for studio classes at the College of Architecture (COA) at Illinois Tech in Chicago, or at the college of Architecture in Damascus University, Syria. From comprehensive building design projects that require a certain level of technical detailing to urban design oriented and abstract conceptual projects, pick and choose which to go through (UD is my favorite)

York University Student Center Toronto- Canada
York University Student Center- Toronto A student center with a total area of approx. 145 thousand SF on the existing York University campus north of Toronto. The studio project was also a part of an 8-week-design competition organized by the university. Along with big architecture firms in north america we have worked to achieve this design me and a partner, Alina Tompert, under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Parante in a Comprehensive Project Design studio in IIT ( Summer 2014)
Damascus Jasmine Vertical horizons studio at IIT with Prof. Peter Land
This structural design studio, instructed by professor Peter Land, focuses on finding feasible and sustainable structural solutions for high rise structures. Although I am presenting renders and perspectives here, in order to put the scale and dimensions into perspective, the main core of the studio was research and design of detailed shop drawings of the nodes and connections.

"Re-Imagining Tall" Competition by CTBUH
In a group of four, we have worked to put a vision for a future city of Damascus 2025. A vision about stopping the horizontal expansion of the city of the green suburbs of the world's oldest inhabited capital. Designing a monumental building of a 300m high by the edge of the old city of Damascus was a true challenge. You can read more about this design in the final board attached below.
